TUESDAY. June 27. 2000 <br /> <br />C, <br /> <br />A personnel matter under the jurisdiction of the City Council, as authorized by Subsection 1. <br />A personnel matter under the jurisdiction of the City Council, as authorized by Subsection 1. <br /> <br />At the conclusion of this Closed Session, each member of Council certified that (1) only public business <br />matters exempt tiom open meeting requirements were discussed in said Closed Session; and (2) only those <br />business matters identified in the motion convening the Closed Session were heard, discussed, or considered <br /> <br />during said Session. <br /> <br />Following their return to open meeting, Council moved upon motion duly seconded, with all members <br />voting: Vote 5-0; Yeas (5)- Crabtree, Teague, Dallas, Haskell, and Roop; Nays (0)- None, the following <br />action: <br /> <br />A. Appointments to Boards/Commissions: <br /> <br /> 1. Appointed Joseph E. Finley of 1658 Roundabout Road to the Martinsville School Board, for <br /> one 3-year term ending 6/30/2003 and Dr. Cynthia W. Ingram of 1163 Yorkshire Road to the <br /> Martinsville School Board, for one 3-year term ending 6/30/2003. <br /> 2. No action taken. <br /> 3. No action taken. <br /> <br />B. No action taken. <br />C. No action taken. <br />D. City Manager Earl B. Reynolds, Jr., will receive a 2.4% pay increase in FY 2000-2001, to be <br /> effective December 1, 2000, as other City employees will receive. <br /> <br /> <br />
