<br />APPENDIX A-SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE <br /> <br />6-10 <br /> <br />14. The location and boundaries of all flood hazard areas situated within the property <br />proposed for subdivision. <br /> <br />6-9. Other Information. <br /> <br />The final plat, when submitted to the agent, shall be accompanied by: <br /> <br />A. Cross sections and profiles of streets showing grades approved by the agent. The <br />profiles shall be drawn to city standard scales and elevations shall be based on datum <br />plane approved by the agent. <br /> <br />B. Protective covenants, if applicable, in form suitable for recording. The developer shall <br />be responsible for recording the covenants with the clerk of court and shall provide the <br />agent with one copy of the covenants affixed with the stamp of the clerk of court <br />certifying the date of recordation. <br /> <br />C. Other data, such other certificates, affidavits, endorsements or deductions, as may be <br />required by the agent in the enforcement of these regulations. <br /> <br />D. A certificate from the city manager certifying that the subdivider has complied with <br />one of the following alternatives; (1) all improvements have been installed in accord <br />with the requirements of these regulations and with the action of the agent giving <br />conditional approval of the preliminary plat; or (2) a bond or certified check has been <br />posted, which is available to the city, and in sufficient amount, approved by city council <br />to assure such completion of all required improvements; or, (3) a satisfactory contract <br />has been executed by the city council and the subdivider providing for improvements <br />as required by these regulations. <br /> <br />6-10. Dedications. <br /> <br />In situations where acceptance is required of public use dedications, such as rights-of-way, <br />water line and/or sewer line easements or other dedications proper under Code of Virginia <br />~ 15.2-2241 the subdivider shall show compliance by one of the following methods: <br /> <br />A. Upon their completion, the city engineer shall attest that all improvements have been <br />installed in accordance with the conditions placed by the agent on the preliminary <br />plant [plat]. <br /> <br />B. A bond or certified check has been posted, which is available to the city; and in <br />sufficient amount, approved by city council to assure completion of all required <br />improvements. <br /> <br />C. A satisfactory contract has been executed by the city council and the subdivider <br />providing for improvements as required by these regulations. <br /> <br />D. Protective covenants, if applicable, have been provided in form suitable for recording. <br /> <br />E. Other data, such other certificates, affidavits, endorsements or deductions, as may be <br />required by the agent in the enforcement of these regulations have been submitted. <br /> <br />Supp. No. 61 <br /> <br />1747 <br />
