Attempt to commit misdemeanor. <br /> <br /> Every person who attempts to commit an offense which is a misdemeanor shall be <br />punishable by the same punishment prescribed for the offense the commission of which was <br />the object of the attempt. <br /> State law reference--Similar provisions, Code of Virginia, § 18.2-27. <br /> <br />Sec. 13-2. Aircraft--Minimum height. <br /> <br /> (a) Except when taking off from or landing on an established landing field, airport or other <br />property designated for that purpose by the owner, no person shall fly any aircraf~ in the city <br />at a height less than the following: <br /> <br /> (1) Over any congested area of the city one thousand (1,000) feet. <br /> <br /> (2) Over any open-air assembly of people one thousand (1,000) feet. <br /> <br /> (3) Elsewhere, five hundred (500) feet. <br /> <br />(b) A violation of this section shall constitute a class 1 misdemeanor. <br />Cross reference--Penalty for class 1 misdemeanor, § 1-11. <br /> <br />Sec. 13-3. Same Acrobatic flying. <br /> <br /> (a) No person shall acrobatically fly any aircraft in the city: <br /> <br /> (1) Over any congested area of city. <br /> <br /> (2) Over any open-air assembly of persons or below two thousand (2,000) feet in height, <br /> over any established civil airway, or at any height over any established airport or <br /> landing field, or within one thousand (1,000) feet horizontally thereof. <br /> <br /> (3) Over any other place at a height less than one thousand five hundred (1,500) feet. <br /> <br />Supp. No. 57 790 <br /> <br /> <br />
