§ 10-10 MARTINSVILLE CODE <br /> <br />Sec. 10-10. Same--Games of chance in private residences. <br /> <br /> Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to make it illegal to participate in a game of <br />chance conducted in a private residence, provided such private residence is not commonly <br />used for such games of chance and that there is no operator, as defined in section 10:1: <br /> State law reference--Similar provisions, Code of Virginia, § 18.2-334. <br /> <br />Sec. 10-11. Same--Bingo games and raffles. <br /> <br /> Nothing in this chapter shall apply to any bingo game, instant bingo or raffle conducted <br />solely by organizations' qual'ffied as prescribed by state law and holding a permit' issued <br />pursuant to section 4-1 of this COde, so long as such activity is conducted in accord with state <br />law. <br /> State law references--Similar provisions, Code of Virginia, § 18.2-334.2; bingo games <br />and raffles, § 18.2-340.1 et seq. <br /> <br />Sec. 10-12.
