December 14, 1999 <br /> <br /> A. Approve a FY1999-2000 General Fund budget adjustment <br /> by increasing Revenue 01100909-490801 - Recovered <br /> Costs/Senior Citizens and increasing Expenditure <br /> 01714212-506016 - Program Supplies/Senior Citizens by <br /> $3,000 each. <br /> <br /> Wade Bartlett, Director of Finance, presented the Financial Report for the Month <br /> Ending October 31, 1999. <br /> <br /> Council considered the need to meet in Closed Session. In accordance with <br /> Section 2.1-344 (A) of the Code of Viminia (1950, and as amended) and upon motion <br /> by Vice Mayor Teague, duly seconded, and by unanimous recorded vote, Council <br /> convened in Closed Session, for the purpose of discussing the following matter: <br /> <br /> A. Consultation with legal counsel pertaining to actual litigation, as <br /> authorized by Subsection 7. <br /> <br /> At the conclusion of this Closed Session, each member of Council certified that <br />(1) only public business matters exempt from open meeting requirements were <br />discussed in said Closed Session; and (2) only those business matters identified in the <br />motion convening the Closed Session were heard, discussed, or considered during said <br />Session. Council took no action. <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before Council during their regular <br />meeting, upon motion by Vice Mayor Teague, duly seconded, by unanimous vote, <br />Mayor Crabtree declared the meeting adjourned at 10:44 P.
