TUESDAY, JULY 13, 1999 <br /> <br />Protection Act of 1999, and to vigorously oppose any federal tax on community-owned electric <br />utilities; and said Council requests that certified copies of this Resolution be forwarded to Senators <br />Robb and Warner and Representative Goode. <br /> <br />Council next considered approval of their Consent Agenda, consisting of the following <br /> <br />items: <br /> <br />Accept and appropriate $1,198.52 of Federal Forfeited Asset Funds into Revenue 01-000500- <br />2404010 ..Federal Confiscated Assets and appropriate to Expenditure 01-310100-5415008- <br />Federal Asset Forfeitures in the Police Department's budget for FY1998-99 in the General <br />Fund. <br /> <br />C, <br /> <br />Authorize Machinery and Tools IDA Grants under the Enterprise Zone Program to Fitness <br />Connection in the amount of $2,773.97 and to Product Restoration Services in the amount of <br />$2,603.85 for their new investments of machinery and tools. <br /> <br />Authorize the City Manager to execute a five-year Lease with Piedmont Trust Bank for roof <br />space for three base stations on Piedmont' s facility at 1 Ellsworth Street. <br /> <br />Council approved the Consent Agenda as presented by the following vote, all members voting: <br /> <br />Vote: 5-0 <br /> <br />Yeas: (5) Crabtree, Dallas, Haskell, Roop, Teague. <br /> <br />Nays: (0) None <br /> <br /> Under items not on the Agenda, Mayor Crabtree commented on the new legal statement to <br /> be used for Executive Session activity, as well as new Freedom of Information language and a <br /> booklet coveting this issue. Council Member Dallas noted that the Albert Harris Committee and <br /> 'Ms. Gloria Hylton would be contacting the Council for their support for the upcoming Albert <br /> <br />· .is Celebration. <br /> <br /> Council next considered the need to meet in Closed Session.
