Bob Phillips, Safety <br /> <br />Director, presented a Halloween Safety Guideline booklet, and stated, "My biggest <br />recommendations' are: I - seek alternatives; 2 - drivers do so very slowly; 3 - adults <br />have designated drivers, if necessary; 4 - homeowners should clean up their yards; and <br />5 - parents should teach their children to 'stop, drop, & roll' and inspect their candy." <br />Council Member Dallas asked, 'M/ill this booklet be available to the schools?" The City's report for <br /> calendar year 1998 will be mailed within the next several <br /> weeks. The report contains general information, sources <br /> and treatment, water quality reports, and education <br /> regarding lead and trihalomethanes in ddnking water. The <br /> City had no violations during 1998." <br /> <br /> <br />
