Dallas <br /> <br />Consider adoption of minutes of City Council's n~xkg2 t~24yt4~, May 11, May <br />13, July 27, and August 10, 1999. <br />(See Enclosure #l-a, #l-b, #l-c, #1-d and #l-e) <br /> <br />COMMENTS: Clerk of Council Jolmathan Phillips will provide Enclosures #1 -d <br />and #1 -e under separate cover. <br /> <br />Business from the floor. <br /> <br />Conduct a Public Hearing and consider adoption of a Resolution endorsing a <br />request by the County of Henry for an amendment to the Joint Martinsville-Hem'y <br />County Enterprise Zone Plan which would add the Patriot Center at Beaver Creek <br />and a 70-acre parcel along Rives Road and remove some land in other parts of <br />Henry County from the original Plan submitted and approve& (See Enclosure #2) <br /> <br />COMMENTS: Since this was a joint program, any changes require the endorse- <br />ment of both localities. Representatives from Henry County will attend the <br />meeting and answer any questions from Council or the public. We recommend <br />adoption of the Resolution as prepared. <br /> <br />Conduct a Public Hearing and consider adoption of Ordinances on a request by <br />Annie Belle King to rezone 907 Morgan Street from R-9 Residential to C-1 <br />Commercial, and to amend the City' s Land Use Map to indicate the property as <br />Commercial rather than the present designation of High Density Residential. <br />(See Enclosure #3) <br /> <br />COMMENTS: The Planning Commission has reviewed and approved this <br />request, therefore, we recommend that Council adopt the Ordinance granting the <br />rezoning and adopt the Ordinance amending the Land Use Map. <br /> <br />Conduct a Public Heating and consider adoption of an Ordinance on a request by <br />James L.V. Radford to fezone 701 Liberty Street from C-1 Commercial to C-3 <br />Commercial. (See Enclosure #4) <br /> <br />COMMENTS: The Planning Commission has reviewed and approved this <br />request, therefore, we recommend that Council adopt the Ordinance granting the <br />rezoning. <br /> <br /> <br />
