Enclosure #2 <br /> <br />Zoning <br />30% <br /> <br /> City of Martinsville <br />Customer Concerns in Museum area <br />Neighborhood Town Meeting June 22, 1999 <br /> <br />Electric <br /> 1% <br /> <br />Inspections <br />39% <br /> <br />Water d- <br /> <br /> Public Work~ss'~l~ <br /> 23% <br /> <br />~" Police <br /> 6% <br /> <br />As evidenced by the departments involved, the main neighborhood concerns are property <br />maintenance violations of unsightly properties, dilapidated houses and inoperative <br />vehicles as well as street paving, curb & gutter requests and police issues. <br /> <br />Citizens' concerns are monitored regularly. To date, all concerns in the Museum region <br />have been resolved or measures are underway to resolve the situation. Citizens making <br />complaints have been notified of status either by phone or letter. <br /> <br />This graph includes 281 actual complaints recorded for this area between June, 1998, and <br />June, 1999. Of the 281 complaints recorded, 254 have been resolved and 27 are <br />presently pending with measures being taken to correct the situation. Duplicate <br />complaints on the same address are noted on attached report. ' <br /> <br />Included in this report are all complaints referred directly to Customer Service but does <br />not include routine calls for service.
