Vice-Mayor Williams expressed support for <br /> Mr. Johnston's idea of creating such a committee. Mayor Oakes <br /> .suggested that he,-the Vice-Mayor and City Manager meet with Mr. <br /> Johnston to developl more specific recommendations to bring to <br /> <br /> Council~at a later date. No objections were ~voiced to this <br /> <br /> suggestion. --. ,~- <br /> <br />Council heard a status report on the Bill Adkins'Townhouse. project <br />abutting ~Spruce,.Street as it relates-. to erosion and sediment <br />control. City-Manager Brown gave an overview of the.project's <br />~history,=and reviewed written materials which had~been provided to <br />Councill.=regarding the history of the project. and City <br />Administration's actions related to the development. Mr~ Brown <br />said that the City had caused some of the erosion problems during <br />construction of a sewer line which took place=during a period of <br />heavy .rains.-.. Mr. Brown stated that at the present time, all <br />requirements !of the Erosion and Sediment Control=plan are being <br />followed.
