Draper Manufacturing. <br /> <br />Bonnie Drape~, 1011 Roundabout Road, asked if there would ever be a straight <br />route through Fourth Street. Mayor McClain noted that there was a problem <br />with the original land developer in that area and the City does not own or <br />have~right-of-way to develop the street through. <br /> <br />Warren Jackson, 1203 Middle Street, who manages Rivermont Apartment Complex, <br />expressed concerns about Middle Street, as follows: (1) there is a drainage <br />problem from Roundabout Road onto Middle Street--water is not flowing through <br />the pipe under the street; and (2) there is a need for curb/gutter on the <br />street (it was noted that the neighbors would have to share in the cost of <br />the installation of curb/gutter). He expressed appreciation for an addition- <br />al street light which was installed after he requested ito He alsD expressed <br />concerns regarding the problems in the Fayette Street area. These problems <br />eventually win~ np at Rivermont Apartments. He stated that the Police <br />Department is doing a good job, but sometimes he needs more backup from th.~m <br />at Rivermont Apartments, especially when there is random shooting at night. <br /> <br />Glenda King, 1102 Roundabout Road, expressed concern about how 911 handles <br />calls. Chief Roop explained the normal procedure and asked her to call"him <br />if she has any problems in the future. <br /> <br />Freddie Flood, t01 Endless Street (behind Curtis Matthis TV), expressed the <br />need for better lighting and more police patrolling on Endless Street. <br /> <br />James Hairston, 408 Third Street, expressed concern about the drug problem in <br />the City. He stated that Operation Coco Moon and Operation Curbside only <br /> <br /> <br />
