Gardner, Mr. Walter <br />Massie, Mr. Leon Towarnicki, Mr. CFaig DuPuy, and Mrs. Shirley Yates. <br /> <br />Council scheduled budget work sessions for April 5 at 10:00 A.M. (to discuss <br />the overall City Manager's Proposed Budget) and for April 9 at 2:00 with the <br />Martinsville City School Board. <br /> <br />In accordance with Section 2.1-344(A) of the CODE OF VIRGINIA (1950, and as <br />amended), and upon motion, duly seconded and carried by a unanimous recorded <br />vote, Council convened into Executive Session for the purpose of discussing <br />a prospective business or industry of which no previous announcement had been <br />made in accordance ~with Subsection 5 of Section 2.1-344(A). At. the <br />conclusion of this Executive Session, Council reconvened into regular <br />session, wherein, by a recorded vote, each member of Council certified that <br />(1) only public business matters exempted from open meeting requirements were <br />discussed in said Executive Session, and (2) only those business matters <br />identified in the motion convening the Executive Session were heard, <br />discussed or considered by Council during said Session. r <br /> <br />Council took no action regarding this item. <br /> <br />Mayor McClainthen declared this meeting adjourned. <br /> <br />Lance G.
