The total <br />estimated cost of owner rehabilitation is $318,250 and $38,400 for the substantial reconstruction of one (1) dwelling. <br /> <br />There are 38 renter occupied dwellings in the area; 34 are lower income families renters of which 4 are currently receiving Section 8 Rental <br />AsSistance. Of the remaining 30 LMI renters, 25 or 83% are living in deteriorating conditions. Investor owners of many of these units have signed <br />a statement of interest to use the Marljnsville Housing Rehabilitation Program to improve their buildings. The commitments represent 58% of all LMI <br />renter occupied units in the area requiring improvements. Additional interest has been indicated by landlords but their units currently meet Section <br />8 HQS. The total estimated cost of renter rehabilitation is $224,900° <br /> <br /> <br />
