VI. Consider adoption of a Supplement to the Ordinance authorizing the issuance of up to $7,500,000 principal amount of General Obligation Notes for Albert Harris School renovations. (See Enclosure #6) COMMENTS: We recommend that Council adopt the Supplement to the Ordinance as prepared by our Bond Counsel, Sands, Anderson, Marks & Miller. Consider adoption of a Resolution requesting the Virginia Depart- ment of Transportation to add eligible lane mileage for calculating street maintenance payments to the City as a result of adding Progress Drive at the Clearview Business Park. (See Enclosure #7) COMMENTS: This is a routine procedure when extra lane mileage is added. We recommend that Council adopt the Resolution as prepared. VIII. STAFF REPORT: A. Financial Report for month ending 2/28/99. (See Enclosure #8) IX.. CONSENT AGENDA: Accept and appropriate $33,730 received from the U.S. Depart- ment of Justice for a Local Law Enforcement Block Grant into Revenue Account 11-000500-3301000--Grant/Federal Block/ Mobile Unit to be expended from 11-3 10100-7001000--Major Tools/Equipment in the Federal Block Grant Fund for the mobile precinct for the Police Department. Transfer $3,748 from Account 01-310100-5415008--Federal Asset Forfeiture in the Police Budget in the General Fund to Account 16-950525-753101 O--Police Motor Vehicles / Equip- ment in the Capital Reserve Fund as the Police Department's 10% match of the $33,730 grant from the U.S. Department of Justice for the mobile precinct. Accept and appropriate $52,453 received from the State Compensation Board into Revenue Account 01-000500- 2302010 in the General Fund to"be transferred to the Capital Reserve Fund to be expended from 16-9505 10-7 1330 10--Jail Major Tools/Equipment as the State's share for a Live-Scan Unit for the Jail.
