District Regulations -
Professional District, Paragraph J., Permitted Uses-RP-1 Residential-
Professional District, Sub-Paragraph 4. Life Care Facility, of the City's
Zoning Ordinance.

At the Public Hearing it was noted there have been several requests fi'om
developers, health care providers, etc. for zoning information regarding
assisted living facilities. Currently the Zoning Ordinance does not provide
for this type use other than through the Special Use procedure. There was
no citizen attendance at the meeting.

Following discussion of the matter, the Planning Commission voted
unanimously (4-0), to forward the attached proposed amendment to City
Council with a favorable recommendation.

The Planning Commission respectfully submits the above
recommendation for council's further consideration.

Sincerely,

Timothy D.
