VI. Consider establishing the City's Annual Regional Highway Transportation Projects Priority List for 1999-2000. (See Enclosure #5) COMMENTS: The West Piedmont Planning District Commission is deve- loping the 1999-2000 Regional Transportation Project Priority List to be pre- sented at Preallocation Hearings conducted by the Virginia Department of Transportation in March. We recommend that Council adopt the list as pre- sented, which is the same as last year. VII. CONSENT AGENDA: Accept and appropriate $1,621.82 received from Fred Martin Associates as reimbursement for repairs to air conditioning equipment at the School Board Office. (See Enclosure #6-a) COMMENTS: We recommend that Council accept $1,621.82 into Revenue 18-000500-1612015--Reimbursement of Unanticip ated Costs and appropriate to Expenditure 18-642090-3312009--Building Repairs and Maintenance in the School Fund for FY98-99. Accept and appropriate $2,379 received from the insurance company for the theft of equipment from the electronics lab at Martinsville High School. (See Enclosure #6-b) COMMENTS: We recommend that Council accept $2,379 into Reve- nue 18-000500-1612015--Reimbursement of Unanticipated Costs and appropriate to Expenditure 18-611033 -8220001 --Vocational Equipment in the School Fund for FY98-99. Accept and appropriate $64,447 received from the State for State man- dated salary increases for instructional personnel with the Schools. (See Enclosure #6-c) COMMENTS: We recommend that Council accept $64,447 into Reve- nue 18-000500-2402026 Salary Supplement to be appropriated in various instructional salary line items in the School Fund for FY98-99. Accept and appropriate a $300 grant received from the Virginia Commis- sion for the Arts for the Martinsville Middle School Choir Program.
