COMMENTS: We recommend that Council accept $28,016 into Revenue <br />18-000500-2402171 --Vocational Ed (Carl Perkins) for expenditure as <br />appropriate in the School Fund's Vocational Education Program. <br /> <br />G, <br /> <br />Appropriate $19,500 from the Water Fund Unexpended Fund Balance to <br />the Water Fund to assist with construction of a 12" water main on Com- <br />monwealth Boulevard. <br /> <br />COMMENTS: This project was awarded to Bryant's Plumbing and Heat- <br />ing at a cost of $29,500, of which $10,000 is in the current budget. We <br />recommend that Council appropriate $19,500 from the Water Fund Unex- <br />pended Fund Balance to Expenditure 12-950500-7009000-Water Con- <br />struction-Physical Plant Expansion in the Water Fund. <br /> <br />Appropriate $154,756 from the Electric Fund Unexpended Fund Balance to <br />the Electric Fund for further installation of the City' s Fiber Optie/Sonet <br />Loop Project. (See Enclosure #7) <br /> <br />COMMENTS: We recommend that Council appropriate $154,756 from <br />the Electric Fund Unexpended Fund Balance for expenditure in appropriate <br />line items in the Electric Fund. <br /> <br />Appropriate $75,000 from the Refuse Fund Unexpended Fund Balance to <br />the Capital Reserve Fund for the City' s underground storage tank project. <br /> <br />COMMENTS: We recommend that Council appropriate $75,000 from <br />the Refuse Fund Unexpended Fund Balance to Expenditure 16-950535- <br />7912250--CraragefWarehouse in the Capital Reserve Fund--Physical Plant <br />Expansion. <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA lll--Set Public Hearings: <br /> <br />Set a public hearing on a request by Ray E. and Elizabeth G. Martin to <br />abandon a 30 x 150 foot section of Thomasson Street. (See Enclosure #8) <br /> <br />COMMENTS: We recommend that Council set a public hearing for your <br />second meeting in January--January 26, 1999. <br /> <br />B, <br /> <br />Set a public hearing on a request by Spring Street Baptist Church to <br />abandon an unopened alley, 11.93 x 96.24 feet located on the north side of <br />Spring Street near the intersection of Woodrow Street. (See Enclosure #9) <br /> <br />COMMENTS: We recommend that Council set a public heating for your <br />next regular meeting--December 8, 1998. <br /> <br />Consider a request by Vivian Anderson to address Council regarding the opera- <br />tion of the Indoor Plumbing and Repair Program. (See Enclosure #10) <br /> <br /> <br />
