Gene Teague <br /> <br /> Consider approval of minutes of City Council's meetings of October 1, 13 and 27, <br /> 1998. (See Enclosure #l-a, #1-b and #l-c) <br /> <br /> Business from the floor. <br /> <br /> Consider an update report on the progress of developing an application to apply <br /> for State funds to build a shell building in the Cleandew Business Park. <br /> <br />COMMENTS: Mr. Thomas Hamed, Assistant to the City Manager for Develop- <br />ment, will update Council on the progress of this application. <br /> <br /> Consider a report by the City Treasurer regarding the collection of delinquent <br /> taxes. (See Enclosure #2) <br /> <br />COMMENTS: City Treasurer Pat Conrad has requested this opportunity to <br />update Council on the collection of delinquent taxes by her office. <br /> <br />STAFF REPORT: <br /> <br />A. Briefing by Director of Finance regarding the City's new computer system. <br />B. Briefing by Assistant City Manager regarding cable service issues. <br />CONSENT AGENDA: <br /> <br />A. Set a public hearing on a Local Law Enforcement Block Grant Award <br /> received by the Police Department. <br /> <br /> COMMENTS: This is a requirement for receipt of the Grant award of <br /> $33,730 for a mobile precinct. We recommend that Council set a public <br /> hearing for its November 24, 1998, meeting. <br /> <br /> Authorization of $25,350 from the Industrial Development Authority <br /> Reserve Fund as an incentive for the Civic Development Group to locate <br /> their business in the City. <br /> <br /> <br />
