<br />I, <; <br />, <br /> <br />April 23, 2008 <br /> <br />After brief discussion, Council asked that the following items be put on the <br />agenda for the budget work sessions: (1) discussion of revenue projections (2) <br />review of school budget requests (3) discussion of employee health insurance (4) <br />discussion of market adjustment proposal (5) discussion of electric rate increase <br />proposal (6) discussion of City Garage Addition, City Capital Projects and Public <br />Works Projects (7) discussion of plan for blighted properties (8) discussion of outside <br />agency funding for Patrick Henry Community College, Blue Ridge Regional Library, <br />and 911 Communication Center. Council agreed to set Monday, May 5, 2008 from <br />8:00 AM to noon in Council Chambers as a budget work session date. <br />On a motion by Gene Teague, seconded Ron Ferrill, Council agreed to set a <br />public hearing and first reading for the FY09 budget ordinance for the May 13, 2008 <br />Council meeting. <br />There being no further business, Mayor Reynolds adjourned the meeting at <br />5: 10 PM. <br /> <br /> <br />'-::, <br /> <br /> <br />~.--/ <br /> <br />Clarence C.
