The City needs to purchase this property before <br /> <br />demolition as part of the entire tract that will be deeded to the Sports Authority <br /> <br />for the Sports Complex project. The total purchase price will be $300,000, with <br /> <br />$100,000 being in the form of a donation back to the City and $200,000 in <br /> <br />cash. He also mentioned that the abandonment of Barton Street has been <br /> <br />referred to the Planning Commission. The Mayor then opened the Public <br /> <br />Hearing and after one question concerning the lot between Barton and Market <br /> <br />Street, the public hearing was closed.
