<br />BE IT RESOL YED by the Martinsville City Council that, on this 27th day of March, 2007, in recognition of <br />April as Fair Housing Month, it does hereby pledge to work with its citizens in pursuit of the shared goal and <br />responsibility for providing equal housing opportunities for all persons <br /> <br />Council next considered adoption of a Resolution authorizing the West <br /> <br />Piedmont Planning District Commission to submit an application to DEQ for <br /> <br />water supply planning grant funds and to develop a regional plan to meet <br /> <br />mandated regulatory requirements. After brief comments by John Dyches, <br /> <br />Water Resources Director, Vice Mayor Clark moved to adopt the Resolution <br /> <br />(Attachment A); the motion was duly seconded and carried by the following <br /> <br />vote, all members voting: Vote 4-0. Yeas (4) - Reynolds, Clark, Ferrill, Lawson. <br /> <br />Council considered adoption of a Resolution authorizing the City <br /> <br />Manager or the Assistant City Manager in his absence, to execute an <br /> <br />agreement with AMP-Ohio concerning the future purchase of power. Vice <br /> <br />Mayor Clark moved to adopt the Resolution (Attachment B); the motion was <br /> <br />duly seconded and carried by the following vote, all members voting: Vote 4-0. <br /> <br />Yeas (4) - Reynolds, Clark, Ferrill, Lawson. Nays (0) - None. Absent (1) _ <br /> <br />Resignation, Appointment and Acceptance Agreement under Indenture of Trust <br /> <br />dated June 15, 1999 between the City and SunTrust Bank. The corporate <br /> <br />trust business of SunTrust has been sold to U.S. Bank National Association <br />
