:42 TUESDAY FEBRUARY 22. 1955 install said following water lines: (1) A four-inch line from the intersection of Clarke Road and Farmington Court westward to the terminus of Farmington Court--a distance of some 580 feet; (2) A four-inch line from the intersection of Sherwood Place and Clarke Road westward to the terminus of Sherwood Place-- a distance of 391 feet; (3) A four-~nch line from the intersection of Clarke Road and Lakemont Court east along Lakemont Court to the intersection of Lakemont Court and Sam Lion 'l'rail--a distance of approximately 900 feet; a~d (4) A six-inch line from the intersection of Clarke Road and Sam Lion Trail to the intersection of L~{emont Court ill1d Sam Lion Trail--a distance of 635 feet. Audit reports for the fiscal year ended June 30, 1954 and covering the City Trial Justice's and City Treasurer1s offices were received from State Auditor Gordon Bennett. The two officers ('J.'rial Justice and TreaSl.1.rer) Here cor~nended for the excellent manner in ~mich they had maintained their records and accounts. An annual report, covering the calendar year 1954, was received from the }~rtinsville Volunteer Fire Company. Both Council, collectively as well as indi vidually, and City lvlanager Hathewson not only expressed appreciation on behalf of the City and its citizens for the splendid work of the Fire Company but also added their praises and congratulations to the Fire Company for its outstanding achievements Hhich have brought national recognition. In response to a petition requesting the replacing of the existing sm,er line on Letcher street, because of its present unsatisfactory elevation, and the paving of said Letcher Street, Council informed the petitioners (through their representatives, Hessrs. Raymond Fontaine and John vI. l.Jartin) that the replacing of the sewer line is on schedule for the latter part of this forthcoming April. COLIDcil was adjourned. ,1. (~~~l~'~f Council
