B I In. ~ X I ~ & I, X I B g, I li 1. ~ AN ORDINANCE TO REZONE PROPERTIES AWNG ROUTE 220 THOROUGHFARE OR DISTRIBUTION ROAD BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Martinsville, Virginia, in regular meeting assembled, as followsi 1. Tha. t the property lying between the we st line of the new thoroughfare and the east line of Sellers Street be rezoned from A-2 Residential to B-1 Business from the intersection of the new thoroughfare and Sellers Street to /_ the north line of the B-2 Business zone bordering along the Norfolk and Western railroad. 2. That the property lying between the westerly projection of the south line of Endless Street, the south line of Emanuel Street, and its projection, the west line of Endless Street, and the east line of the new thoroughfare, be rezoned from A-2 &3sidential to B-1 Business~ 3. That the property lying within the following boundaries be rezoned from A-2 Residential to B-2 Businesss tho north line of the B-2 Business zone bordering the north edge of the Norfolk and Western railroadl the west line of Massey Street; tho south line of Endless Street and its projection westward; and the east line of the now 220 thoroughfare. 4. That the property lying within the following boundaries be rezoned from A-2 Residential to B-2 Businessl the wost line of an a.lloy lying between Maryland and Winston stroets; tho north line of Lavinder Street and its pro- jection westward; the south line of the B-2 Business zone bordering the south edge of the Norfolk and Western railroad; and the west line of the new 220 thoroughfare. This property embraces all properties along Sellors Street south of tho Norfolk and Western railroad and west of tho thoroughfare, Manilla. Street, and throe propertie s fronting Winston street. 5. That the property lying within the following boundaries be rezoned from A-2 Residential to B-2 Business: the north lino of the new thoroughfare1 the south line of the B-2 Businoss zone bordering the south side of the Norfolk and Western railroad; and the wost line of Lavinder Street. This embraces properties along Winston streot and Maryland Stroet. 6. That tho properties lying within tho following 'boundarios be rezonod from A-2 Residential to B-1 Business: tho east lino of Lavinder stroet at its intersection with the Maryland Street connection; the north lino of the new 220 thoroughfare; a line 100 feet south of the south line of Lavinder Stroet; and the west line of the B-1 Business zone along the west side of Bridge Street 0 This property is also intended to include all of Lot No. 1 fronting on Lavinder Stroet, all of Lots No. 48, 49, 50, 51, and 52, and to exclude a small portion of the front of Lot No. 2 fronting on Lavinder Street opposite its intersoction with South Moss street.
