I I X Q E 11! 11 I I ~ 2 Y 111 !, <br /> <br />VIRGINIA <br />--~----- <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council desires to make further provision for the <br />issuance of the $620,000 Water System Improvement Bonds which are to be <br />issued pursuant to the ordinance adopted by the Council on March 13, 1953; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council ot the City of Martinsvil1e as tollows: <br /> <br />(1) Both principal of and interest on said bonds shall be payable at <br />the principal office of The National City Bank ot New York, in the Borough <br />of Manhattan, City and State of New York, or, at the option of the holder, <br />at The First National Bank in the City of l~rtinsville, Virginia, or at <br />the Piedmont Trust Bank in the City of Martinsville, Virginia, in any coin <br />or currency of the United States of America which at the time of payment <br />is legal tender for the payment of public and private debts. <br /> <br />(2) Said bonds shall be coupon bonds, without privilege of <br />registration.
