R. S. Br-own, Sr. andR. S. Brovm, Jr. appeared before Council and <br /> <br />recorr.r::ended certain changes in the City's Subdivision Ordinance. Mr. R. S. Brown, <br /> <br />Jr., also quest:Loned Council's action of October 8th Vii th regard to what was termed <br /> <br />a l:'fater line extension under contract, as approved by Council, with "liir. J. Ben <br /> <br />Davis. Council pointed out that in this case there is only a water line replaco- <br /> <br />merIt involved and ordered that the contract be so re-vised. Meanwhile, upon City <br /> <br />Manaber Hirst's reccnrrlendation, Council agreed to consider at its next regular <br /> <br />meetin;!, a draft of a rev':sion of the City's Subdivision Ordinance coverning <br /> <br />"outside" utility line m:tensior..s, after which time representatives of the City <br /> <br />and other interested p2.rties mif3ht confer in an effort to effect a subdivision <br /> <br />ordinance mutually acceptable. <br /> <br />Because Mayor Shultz and City Eall8[;er H:irst will be atto:'1ding the armual International <br /> <br />City l\{;magers Association meeting in Washington, D.
