Clift, <br /> <br />and assumed his position as Councilman. <br /> <br />Indicating that it desired to make organizational appointments wi thin the Council, <br /> <br />Council asked that City Attorney Stone preside for such appointrrents. Upon motion <br /> <br />by Councilman stone, seconded by Councilman Hill, Councilman John W. Shultz was <br /> <br />elected Ma.yor for the unexpired term of N.ayor Woodson, ending August 31, 1958. <br /> <br />Upon motion by Councilman Hill, seconded by Mayor-Councilman Shultz, Councilman <br /> <br />E. E. Stone was elected Vice-Mayor for the unexpired term also ending August 31, <br /> <br />1958. City Circuit Court Clerk Jesse D. Clift administered the respective oaths <br /> <br />of office. Mayor Shultz and Vice-Mayor Stone then assllmed their respective <br /> <br />posi tions. <br /> <br />Council received notice that a comr:rt.1.nity meeting originally scheduled for April <br /> <br />29th at Joseph M8I'tin Elementary School, for the purpose of discussing the forth- <br /> <br />cowing school bond election, has been rescheduled for Tuesday, May 7th, at <br /> <br />7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />Upon request of City Circuit Court Clerk Jesse D.
