I did not seek the position--this city, as have several others jn the past ti-TO Dr throe years, approached me Hi th the inouiry as to '.f!lether I Hould be interested in their opening. Their present manager has reached mandatory retirement age. I have been considering their sitl:ation since the first 0:;'.' the YC2r. I ha.vc come to the conclusion that this o;portunity holds so mnC,l for me as a m~ager ,md for my family that I must'J.ccept. :lere in Nartinsville, developments in the formative stage lead me to beHeve that public sentiment is crJ~stallizing more forcefnlly oeh:',--,'ld progressive local governnent than ever before.
