<br />3~ <br /> <br />FRIDAY <br /> <br />DECEMJER 8. 1961 <br /> <br />---.. <br /> <br />A duly-called and duly-advertised special meeting of the Council of the City of <br /> <br />l~tinsville, Virginia, with }~yor J. Frank Wilson presiding, was held in the <br /> <br />Circuit Courtroom of the Henrj'" County Courthouse Friday, December 8, 1961, at <br /> <br />7 :30 P.N., all members of Council being present, viz., VJ8.yor J. Frank Wilson; <br /> <br />Vice-Mayor Fred T. Renick; Thomas J. Burch; E. E. Stone; and Harry L. Booz. <br /> <br />~. <br /> <br />The purpose of this meeting and public hearing, as stated, was to receive <br /> <br />suggestions, inquiries, and/or criticisms--as well as to offer explanations-- <br /> <br />pertaining to a revised Zoning Code and Map (plus Thoroughfare Plan) as <br /> <br />recommended and presented to Council by the Planning Commission on October <br /> <br />31, 1961. Hembers of the Planning Conrrnission were present and, led by <br /> <br />Chairman Leon G10bman, explained various phases of the recommended code and, <br /> <br />also, assisted in answering inquiries from various citizens present. <br /> <br />Council compiled a summary of the criticisms and suggestions offered and took <br /> <br />these under study, preparatorJr to additional hearings and subsequent action by <br /> <br />the CouncE. <br /> <br />,-- <br /> <br />Council was adjourned. <br /> <br />1~~~r-- <br />w.
