<br />-- <br /> <br />86 ( 5 ) <br /> <br />all times be of a heating value of not less than 1,000 British Thermal Units per <br /> <br /> <br />cubic foot of' gas so furnished, unless the Federal Power Commission or other <br /> <br /> <br />authorized governmental agency should approve a lower value for gas to be delivered <br /> <br /> <br />to the grantee by the company or companies transmitting the natural gas to the <br /> <br /> <br />grantee. <br /> <br />Subsection(c). Pressure. Gas pressure, as measured at the outlet of the <br /> <br /> <br />grantee's service to any consumer, shall never be less than four inches of water <br /> <br /> <br />column, to be determined as herein provided. The grantee shall install and <br /> <br /> <br />maintain a reasonable number of graphic recording pressure gauges at points in <br /> <br /> <br />the distribution system as necessary to determine average pressure. <br /> <br /> <br />Subsection (d )" Meter Accuracy. All gas service shall be suppli ed through a <br /> <br /> <br />meter which shall accurately measure the amount of gas supplied to any consumer. <br /> <br /> <br />The consumer shall supply a safe and proper place for vhe installation of each <br /> <br /> <br />such meter~ l~ters shall be tested for accuracy by the grantee upon the request <br /> <br /> <br />of any consumer who believes his meter to be inaccurate. If, upon test, it <br /> <br /> <br />appears that such meter overruns to the extent of 3 per cent or more, the grantee <br /> <br /> <br />shall pay the cost of such tests and shall make a refund for overcharges collected <br /> <br /> <br />since the last known date of accuracy but for no longer than six months, on the <br /> <br /> <br />basis of the extent of the inaccuracy found to exist at the time of the tests. <br /> <br /> <br />If, when any meter is tested upon the demand of a consumer, it is found to be <br /> <br /> <br />accurate or slow or less than 3 per cent fast, the grantee may require the consumer <br /> <br /> <br />to pay the reasonable cost of such testing. Every meter, whether complained of <br /> <br /> <br />qy a consumer or otherwise, shall be removed from service at least once each <br /> <br /> <br />seven years and thoroughly tested for its accuracy. Any meter found inaccurate <br /> <br /> <br />upon any test beyond a tolerance of 2 per cent shall not be returned to service <br /> <br />- 5 - <br />
