<br />[j6 (J ) <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />SECT ION 4. NATURA L GAS. <br /> <br />Natural gas distributed by the grantee is to be furnished in its natural stateJ <br /> <br />without mixture of air or the abstraction of any natural elementJ or adulterationJ <br /> <br />and at the heat value and pressure hereinafter set forth, at the consumer's meter, <br /> <br />subject, however, to the removal of oil, gasoline vapors, helium and other <br /> <br />~ydrocarbons. <br /> <br />r-. <br />I <br />1 <br /> <br />SECTION 5. <br /> <br />OBLIGATION OF GRANl'EE TO FURN:t.SH NATURAL GAS. <br />. .. -. ,... ,~..-.., <br /> <br />Subsection (a ). Except to the extent that the grantee shall be prevented from <br /> <br />doing so by order or rules and regulations of the Federal Power Conmission or the <br /> <br />State Corporation Commission, the grantee will deliver to and distribute for the <br /> <br />use of the inhabitants within the city, during the period of this franchise, and <br /> <br />providing there is a demand for same, not less than one million, five hundred <br /> <br />thousand cubic feet per day of natural gas of the heating value and pressure <br /> <br />herein elsewhere defined unless the Federal Power Commission or other regulatory <br /> <br />body having jurisdiction and authority to do so shall reduce the allocation of <br /> <br />natural gas to the grantee for distribution in the city. In the event such <br />allocation is so reduced then the grantee will deliver to and distribute within <br />the city for the use of the inhabitants thereof, if and when demanded, the <br /> <br />maximum quantity possible under the reduced or altered circumstances. In the <br /> <br />event the grantee should file or make application to the Federal Power Commission, <br /> <br />or other regulatory body having jurisdiction, for a reduction in allocation of <br /> <br />natural gas to the grantee for distribution in the city, the grantee shall <br /> <br />simultaneously with such filing or application give written notice to the City <br /> <br />Council of such action and purpose. <br /> <br />- 3 - <br />
