<br />Section 10. Safety Methods and Equipment. <br /> <br />Subsection a. <br /> <br />The grantee shall at all times employ a high standard of care and shall <br /> <br />install and maintain in use approved methods and devices for preventing failures or <br /> <br />accidents which are likely to cause damages, injuries or nuisances to the public. <br /> <br />Subsection b. <br /> <br />The grantee shall install its wires, cables I fixtures and appurtenances in <br /> <br />accordance with the requirements of the National Electrical r:ode and the current edition <br /> <br />of the National Electrical Safety Code, Bureau of Standards Handbook No. 130 and Bell <br /> <br />System Practices I and so as not to interfere with the installations of the city or of any <br /> <br />public utility engaged in serving the city. The grantee further agrees to comply with any <br /> <br />rule or order now in effect or which may hereafter be issued by any governing or regulatory <br /> <br />authority having jurisdiction. <br /> <br />Subsection c. <br /> <br />All structures I and all lines I equipment and connections in, over, under <br /> <br />and upon the streets I sidewalks I alleys and public grounds or places of the city I wherever <br /> <br />situated or located, shall at all times be kept and maintained in a safe I suitable and <br /> <br />substantial condition I and in good order and repair. <br /> <br />Subsection d. <br /> <br />The grantee shall maintain a force of one or more resident agents or employees <br /> <br />at all times and shall have sufficient employees to maintain safe I adequate and prompt <br /> <br />service to its facilities. <br /> <br />- 9 - <br />
