At City Attorney Cubine's suggestion, if the

additional encroachment is to be allowed, Council authorized

this additional encroachment subject to a rldollar-per-year lease agreementll

to establish the encroachment and to protect the City.

Through officials of the City, the Virginia Travel Council solicited the City's

participation in the New York World's Fair opening in April, 1964, by renting

a rlrackrl in the space leased by the Travel Council at the Fair for promotional

advertising.
