<br />72 <br /> <br />FRIDAY <br /> <br />SEPTm1BER 21. 1962 <br /> <br />A special and duly-called meeting of the Council of the City of Martinsville, <br /> <br /> <br />Virginia, was held in the CotL.'1cil Chamber, City Hall, Friday, September 21, <br /> <br /> <br />1962, at 1 :00 P. M., for the purpose of considering and/or acting upon bids <br /> <br /> <br />received September 18, 1962, for the construction of water and sewer utilities <br /> <br /> <br />to serve the Industrial Park being developed ~thin the City's airport tract. <br /> <br /> <br />All members of Council were present, viz., Nayor J. FranklJilson, presiding; <br /> <br />Vice-Mayor Fred T. Renick; Harry L. Boaz; Thomas J. Burch; and E. E. Stone. <br /> <br />After the invocation, followed by the statement by Mayor Wilson of the purpose <br /> <br /> <br />of this meeting, City Manager Hirst presented a tabulation and summary of the <br /> <br /> <br />bids received, as follows: <br />
