<br />2f <br /> <br />FRIDAY <br /> <br />MAY 4. 1962 <br /> <br />above described, and to that end they are authorized in the <br />name of the City to do all things necessary and essential to <br />prosecute said litigation to a successful conclusion. <br /> <br />An emergency exists and this ordinance is in force from its <br />passage. <br /> <br />Council indicated that at its next regular meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, <br />May 8, 1962, it will consider amending the City's Business & Occupational <br /> <br />License Tax Ordinance by reducing the gross receipts license tax on local <br /> <br />manufacturers fran ten cents to seven cents per one hundred dollars of <br /> <br />gross receipts and, also, will consider a request from the Norfolk & <br /> <br />Western Railwa;v Company, in the form of a new resolution or an amended <br /> <br />resolution, concerning the granting of right-of-way to the Norfolk & Western <br />Railway Company for the construction of rail facilities into the City's <br /> <br />airport tract for industrial usage. <br /> <br />Council was adjourned. <br /> <br />.Zit"Ytt."cJ:;;k- or CoUDlil <br />
