Said easement and <br />right of way herein conveyed being more particularly described as <br />follows: BEGINNING at a point in the centerline of a siding, now <br />under co~struction by the Norfolk and Western Railway, said beginning <br />point being 8.39055'59" W., approximately 11 feet from the southerly <br />right-of-way line of the Norfolk and -Western Railway along the <br />dividing line between property owned by the Frith Family Trust and <br />the City of Martinsville; thence leaving said point of beginning in <br />an easterly direction and with the centerline of said siding, approx- <br />imately 241 feet to a point at which said centerline intersects the <br />southerly right-of-way line of the Norfolk and Western Railroad at <br />Station 4+00*. The above description is alo~g the centerline of the <br />aforementioned siding as shown on N. & W.lS Plan #V-7-VA.134 & 135, <br />entitled, "Pro. Siding to 8erve Frith Construction Company", as <br />prepared by the Norfolk and Western Railway, Shenandoah Division- <br />Winston Salem District, dated May 1, 1967. A detailed map of the <br />above described property is now being prepared and after said map has <br />been completed and approved by the City of Martinsville, said map <br />shall be recorded in a current map book in the aforesaid Clerk1s <br />office, and the description of the above referred to property as shown <br />on said map shall have precedence over the description as included <br />herein. <br /> <br />The easement and right-of-way herein granted being for the express <br />purpose of the extension of a railway track over the property of the <br />party of the first part and connecting with the main line track of <br />the Norfolk & Western Railway Company adjacent thereto, and as part <br />of the consideration of this conveyance it is expressly understood and <br />agreed between the parties hereto that should the easement and right- <br />of-way herein granted cease to be used for the purpose herein stated, <br />set out and dedicated, then the same shall immediately revert to the <br />City of Martinsville, Virginia, or its assigns. <br /> <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Council of the City of Martinsville, Virginia, <br />has caused its Mayor, Fred T. Renick, to sign its corporate name to <br />this deed and has caused its seal to be affixed hereto attested by <br />W. H.
