<br />31 <br /> <br />TUESDAY <br /> <br />MARCH 29, 1966 <br /> <br />Subject to the conditions set forth by the Planning Commission in its <br /> <br />recommendations dated March 29, 1966, and subject to compliance with all <br /> <br />applicable (City) regulations and requirements, Council authorized Lester <br /> <br />Lumber Con~any, Inc., (for and/or Simons & Associates) to extend City <br /> <br /> <br />utilities into a proposed shopping center (outside the corporate limits) <br /> <br /> <br />near the intersection of Route 22J North and Armory Road. This authorization <br /> <br /> <br />included the extension of a water line--as requested by petitioner on March <br /> <br />22, 1966--along Armory Road, for a distance of some three hundred feet, from <br /> <br />Rou te 220 North. <br /> <br />Mr. Robert E. Saville, of Burch-Hodges-Stone, Inc., appeared as agent for Mr. <br /> <br />Ted Hamre and Mr. Hamre's proposed Stratford Square Apartments project, <br /> <br />requesting a "special-use" permit for said project, involving a tract of land <br /> <br />between the north boundary of the First Presbyterian Church and the south <br /> <br />boundary of Madison Street, east of properties fronting the east side of <br /> <br />Randolph Street. Council referred this request to the Planning Commission <br />for its consideration and recommendation. <br /> <br />Council was adjourned. <br /> <br />w. HA.'~~~5-'Clerk of Council <br />
