<br />-j A) f~ <br />. , ,(" ,;i <br /> <br />TUESDAY <br /> <br />JUNE 12, 1973 <br /> <br />Upon recommendation of City Manager Noland, Council authorized and directed <br /> <br />that the intended use and/or proposed allocation of "Federal Revenue-Sharing" <br /> <br />funds (applicable to the first six months of 1973) be published in accordance <br /> <br />with Federal requirements, with Council approving said proposed intended use <br /> <br />and/or allocation of such funds in accordance with the schedule of projects <br /> <br />and usage presented by the City Manager. <br /> <br />Council unanimously approved the proposed revision of 1973-74 salaries <br /> <br />recommended by Sheriff James L. Carter for three of his personnel, for <br /> <br />presentation to the State Compensation Board. <br /> <br />Dr. Robert W. Hartley, District Public Health Officer, and Mr. N. J. Paulsen, <br /> <br />Administrative Superintendent of the local Health District, appeared before <br /> <br />Council and presented projected needs of the Health Department for the <br /> <br />beinnium 1974-76, indicating an expansion of services and the adding of <br /> <br />some personnel and equipment. Council indicated its concurrence with the <br /> <br />Health Department's plan providing for this expansion and the necessary <br /> <br />addition of personnel and equipment. <br /> <br />Upon motion, duly seconded and unanimously carried, Council called for a <br /> <br />special meeting to be conducted jointly with the Henry County Board of <br /> <br />Supervisors on Tuesday, June 19, 1973, beginning at 7:30 P.M., in the <br /> <br />Council Chamber, City Hall, to discuss (1) the providing of sewer service <br /> <br />for the Figsboro Road area; (2) the possible reacquisition of the former <br /> <br />City Shop property from Henry County; and (3) a proposed joint development <br /> <br />of office facilities for personnel of the District Juvenile & Domestic <br /> <br />Relations Court. Also upon motion, duly seconded and unanimously carried, <br /> <br />Council agreed to convene at 7:00 P.M., just prior to the aforesaid joint <br />
