<br />, R C <br />..d) <br /> <br />MONDAY <br /> <br />APRIL 7, 1980 <br /> <br />A special and duly-called meeting (pursuant to Section 5a of Chapter 2 of the Charter <br /> <br />of the City of Martinsville, Virginia) of the Council of the City of Martinsville, <br /> <br />Virginia, was held Monday, April 7, 1980, in the Council Chamber, City Hall, beginning <br /> <br />at 9:00 A.M., for the purpose of considering a personnel matter. All members of Council <br /> <br />were present, viz., William D. Hobson, Mayor; William C. Cole, Jr., Vice Mayor; Barry A. <br /> <br />Greene; L. D. Oakes; and Francis T. West. <br /> <br />After the invocation, Mayor Hobson stated the purpose of this meeting; whereupon motion, <br /> <br />duly seconded and unanimously carried by a recorded vote, Council convened into an <br /> <br />Executive Session to consider said personnel matter, in accordance with Section 2.1-344(1) <br /> <br />of the CODE OF VIRGINIA (1950, and as amended). At the conclusion of this Executive <br /> <br />Session, Council reconvened into open session and announced that no formal or official <br /> <br />action was required. <br /> <br />Council was adjourned. <br /> <br />)~""~o, <br />W.
