<br />., <br />... <br /> <br />. Henry County should have primary responsibility for development above flood <br /> <br />plane around thl: lake. This should include \vakr. seWl:r. roads, and <br /> <br />recreational facilities. <br /> <br />. The Commissioner of Game and Inland Fisherie~ will have responsibility for <br /> <br />boating and fishing regulations and enforcement. <br /> <br />. The dam is not designed for flood control; however, we believe it will provide <br /> <br />some flood control downstream. <br /> <br />. Highway 58 bypass will cross over the upper part of the lake and could provide <br /> <br />a primary access to both sides of the lake. <br /> <br />. Relocation of homes will be minimal as it appears that only one currently occupied <br /> <br />home might be affected by the proposed water level of 639 feet above sea level. <br /> <br />There are approximately 329 persons whose land would be required. <br /> <br />. We were not able to get information on how to handle land that will be owned by <br /> <br />a city/utility(ies) between normal water line and upper flood plane. I understand <br /> <br />that APCO has a "Flowage Easement" with land owners that allows use with no <br /> <br />responsibility to APCO. A permit would be needed on anything that projects into <br /> <br />the lake. This will be added to the report when confirmed. <br />
