Consider aligning Council's goals and initiatives with their Vision 2025. <br /> <br />3. Presentation of the City's Legislative Priorities for 2007 to Delegate Ward <br />Armstrong. <br /> <br />4. Presentation by Forrest M. Landon, Executive Director of the Virginia <br />Coalition for Open Government. <br /> <br />5. Conduct a public hearing and consider adoption, on first reading, of an <br />Ordinance to rezone 707,709 and 711 Fayette Street and 100 Sellers ' <br />Street, known on the Tax Map of the City of Martinsville as 31(2) H/17R. <br />17S, 3R, 18 from R-6 Residential to C-3 Commercial. <br /> <br />6. Consider adoption of a Resolution designating the Uptown area as <br />described on Exhibit A as a revitalization area. <br /> <br />7. Consider authorizing a refund by the City Treasurer of $9,551.61 for pro- <br />ration of a business license. <br /> <br />8. Discussion of a draft ordinance on real and personal property tax <br />exemption. <br /> <br />9. Business from the Floor. <br /> <br />This section of the Council meeting provides citizens the <br />opportunity to discuss matters, which are not listed on the printed <br />agenda. In that the Council meetings are broadcast on Martinsville <br />Government Television, the City Council is responsible for the <br />content of the programming.
