City Manager Edmonds reduce overall expense recommendations by some <br />$200,000.00 in order that the proposed increase in revenue from real <br />estate taxes, resulting from the recent real estate reassessment and <br />the application of the current 99~ tax rate, be reduced by a like <br />amount to reflect a median rate between 83~~ (a rate which, on the <br />new real estate reassessed valuations, would yield approximately the <br />same amount of revenue as is anticipated for 1980-81) and the current <br />99~ rate. <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />Council was reminded of a scheduled meeting on April 20th, beginning at 3:30 P.M., with <br /> <br />the City School Board to consider with the Board its 1981-82 budget requests. <br /> <br />Council was adjourned. <br /> <br />)~" "~~,-'..
