<br />TUESDAY <br /> <br />JANUARY 27, 1981 <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />By a recorded and unanimous vote, with appropriate motion and second, and pursuant to <br /> <br />Section 2.1-344(6) of the CODE OF VIRGINIA (1950, and as amended), Council convened into an <br /> <br />Executive Session to consider authorizing the Commonwealth's Attorney (for Martinsville) to <br /> <br />appeal a recent adverse decision in the case of Terry Bauder vs. James L. Carter, City Sheriff, <br /> <br />et also Upon reconvening into regular session, Council took no action in this matter. <br /> <br />Councilman Oakes brought to Council's attention (and to that of the City Manager) the renewal <br /> <br />of complaints concerning the accumulation of unsightly trash on an embankment within the <br /> <br />Patrick Henry Mall complex. <br /> <br />Council was adjourned. <br /> <br />~\'-'t) ~- <br />W.
