Mr. Brown also noted that many signs which were not in com- <br /> <br />pliance are now in compliance. <br /> <br />Mayor Cole, referring to recent legislation enacted by the 1986 Session of the Vir- <br /> <br />ginia General Assembly relating to certain types of insurance, indicated that, as a <br /> <br />result thereof, governmental entities within the State of Virginia may be afforded <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />new recourses in the areas of "self-insurance" and "pooling". <br /> <br />In accordance with the requirements of su~sections (a)(l) and (a)(6) of Section 2.1- <br /> <br />344 of the CODE OF VIRGINIA (1950, and asl amended) and pursuant to motion, duly <br /> <br />seconded and unanimously carried by a rec~rded vote, Council convened into an Exe- <br /> <br />cutive Session for the purposes of (1) corsidering a personnel matter and (2) con- <br />I <br /> <br />sidering a legal matter in consultation w~th City Attorney Worthy. At the conclusion <br /> <br />of this Executive Session, Council reconv~ned into regular session but took no action <br /> <br />on these matters.
