Fan Fest will be held <br /> <br />Tuesday, May 30. <br /> <br />Council Member Roop moved to approve the following Consent Agenda <br /> <br />items; the motion was duly seconded and carried by the following vote, with all <br /> <br />members voting: Vote 5-0. Yeas (5) - Cobbe, Reynolds, Roop, Ferrill, Clark. <br /> <br />Nays (0) -None. <br /> <br />· Accept in FY06 budget $79,378 in the School Fund. $75,000 is for <br />salaries and supplies for the NASA program. $4,378 is recovered fuel <br />costs of which $3,500 will be used for stipends. <br /> <br />· Accept in FY06 budget $35,040 in the General Fund. These funds are <br />from a Federal grant for prevention of terrorism. <br /> <br />City Manager Dan Collins mentioned that he and the Mayor had gone to <br /> <br />New York to give depositions concerning the cable purchase and all expenses <br /> <br />were paid by Adelphia's attorneys. Council was asked to decide which day they <br /> <br />wanted to have their organizational meeting, either Saturday, July 1, or <br /> <br />Monday, July 3, and it was the consensus of the group to have it on Saturday, <br /> <br />July 1 at 9:00 a.m. <br /> <br />At this point, Council continued with their review of the proposed FY07 <br /> <br />budget. City Manager Dan Collins gave an overview of a new proposal to <br /> <br />reduce the rate increases. The proposal consisted of further reducing capital <br /> <br />improvement items, downtown improvements, schools and the fund balance, <br />
