<br />,~ ~. ,. <br />ti .. <br />J, <br /> <br />January 20-21,2006 <br /> <br />Tyler St. Clair led in introductions and a review of the purpose, outcomes <br /> <br />and agenda of the summit. Next, Council, along with staff, reviewed and made <br /> <br />changes to the City's shared vision statement and community goals. <br /> <br />Dan Collins, City Manager, provided an overview of the staff summit held <br /> <br />the afternoon and morning prior to Council's arrival and the process followed. <br /> <br />He then reviewed the progress report of the departmental goals for FY06 along <br /> <br />with new goals added for FY07. Various goals were discussed and Council <br /> <br />added several during the discussion. Staff had also prioritized the top three <br /> <br />goals in their departments and Council concurred with the priorities set for the <br /> <br />next fiscal year. Staffing needs and the five-year CIP (Capital Improvement <br /> <br />Plan) were also reviewed. <br /> <br />Council recessed at 5:00 p.m. until the following day. <br /> <br />Council reconvened on January 21, 2006 at 8: 15 a.m. <br /> <br />Tyler St. Clair led in a brief review of the shared vision, community goals, <br /> <br />departmental goals and five-year CIP from yesterday. After discussion, she <br /> <br />posed three questions to help wrap-up the summit: 1) What is working now; <br /> <br />2) What changes/improvements need to be made; and 3) What are the next <br /> <br />steps? The current issue of reversion to a town was brought up during this <br /> <br />discussion and Council agreed that they would have a special-called meeting to <br />
