Consider approval of the minutes of City Council's meetings of January <br />20-21,24,26 and February 14,2006. <br /> <br />2. Recognition (staff/citizens) <br /> <br />A. Presentation of "Citizen of the Year" award by the Police Department. <br /> <br />3. Consider approval of the purchase of a track loader currently being used <br />at the City landfill and leased from Carter Machinery. <br /> <br />4. Consider approval of the City's prioritized list of projects to be included <br />in the Year 2006 Regional Comprehensive Economic Development <br />Strategy and authorizing the City Manager to provide this information to <br />the U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development <br />Administration. <br /> <br />5. Conduct a public hearing and consider adoption, on first reading, of <br />Ordinance on a request from the Planning Commission to rezone <br />property at 1220 S. Memorial Boulevard from C-3 Commercial to M-2 <br />Industrial. <br /> <br />6. Conduct a public hearing and consider approval of a request by First <br />Baptist Church-East Martinsville, to purchase from the City residual <br />right-of-way from the former US 58 consisting of 5938 square feet <br />fronting 1043 East Church Street for a price of$l,300. <br /> <br />7. Conduct a public hearing and consider adoption, on first reading, of <br />Ordinance No. 2006-1 amending Appendix D-2-Schedule of Connection <br />Charges of the City's Terms and Conditions for Water and Sewer Service. <br />
