Upon returning to <br /> <br />Open Session, Council took the following action: <br /> <br />A. Council Member Ferrill moved to reappoint Judith K. Matthews of <br /> <br />211 Arrowhead Trail to the Anchor Group Home Commission for a <br /> <br />term expiring on December 31, 2009; the motion was duly seconded <br /> <br />and carried by the following vote, with all members voting: Vote 5- <br /> <br />O. Yeas (5) - Cobbe, Reynolds, Roop, Ferrill, Clark. Nays (0) - None. <br /> <br />B. Council Member Clark moved to appoint Lee Ann Fuller of 710 <br /> <br />Beechnut Lane to the Architectural Review Board for a term expiring <br /> <br />on March 31, 2006; the motion was duly seconded and carried by the <br /> <br />following vote, with all members voting: Vote 5 - O. Yeas (5) - Cobbe, <br /> <br />Reynolds, Roop, Ferrill, Clark. Nays (0) - None. <br /> <br />C. Council Member Roop moved to appoint John Matthews of 211 <br /> <br />Arrowhead Trail to the Henry County-Martinsville Joint Social <br /> <br />Services Board for a term expiring on May 31, 2007; the motion was <br /> <br />duly seconded and carried by the following vote, with all members <br /> <br />voting: Vote 5 - O. Yeas (5) - Cobbe, Reynolds, Roop, Ferrill, Clark. <br /> <br />Nays (0) - None. <br /> <br />D. Mayor Cobbe announced that a vacancy has been created on the <br /> <br />School Board by operation of law. The position will be advertised and <br /> <br />the public hearing to receive nominations and conduct interviews of <br />
