Mr. Towarnicki indicated that the projected <br /> <br />completion date is July 2006. <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />Council next considered the disposition of city-owned property in Henry <br /> <br />County consisting of 238.368 acres. Wade Bartlett, Finance Director, gave a <br /> <br />brief history of the property, which the city has been leasing for grazing since <br /> <br />1996. The current lease will expire on June 30, 2006. Council Member Roop <br /> <br />inquired if we had asked the EDC staff to look at the property. Mr. Bartlett <br /> <br />said he had at one time, but can ask Danny Fore to give his opinion. After <br /> <br />further discussion, Council advised staff to check with EDC and, after giving <br /> <br />the proper notice to the leaseholder, to proceed with advertising for sale. <br /> <br />Communications Manager Matt Hankins reminded everyone that the <br /> <br />Mustangs final game of the season will be Wednesday, August 10, and it will be <br /> <br />fan appreciation night. He also indicated he would give a report on the season <br /> <br />at the next scheduled work session. <br /> <br />There being no further business to come before Council during their <br /> <br />work session, Mayor Cobbe declared the meeting adjourned at 1:25 P.
