<br />November 22, 2005 <br /> <br />City Manager Collins announced that the City Municipal Building would <br /> <br /> <br />be closing at 1 :00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 23, for the Thanksgiving <br /> <br /> <br />holiday and would reopen at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, November 25. He reminded <br /> <br />Council and the public that there would be only one Council meeting next <br /> <br />month on December 13 at 1:00 p.m. He is still waiting on data regarding the <br /> <br />cable and reversion projects and hopes to have a report on the cable issue at <br /> <br />the December meeting. <br /> <br />Council Member Roop requested that we do more advertising concerning <br /> <br />the Good Neighbor Fund through the Salvation Army for citizens who quality <br /> <br />for assistance with their electric bills. Council Member Ferrill requested staff <br /> <br />to report back to Council on any new options to control the deer population in <br /> <br />the city. Council Member Clark mentioned that he is proud of the direction in <br /> <br />which the city schools are now headed under the leadership of Dr. Kizner and <br /> <br />commended the Boys & Girls Club for the program they have in the schools. <br /> <br />He, along with Vice Mayor Reynolds, encouraged citizens to get involved in any <br /> <br />way they can in the community. <br /> <br />Council considered the need to meet in Closed Session.
