<br />September 27, 2005 <br /> <br />At the conclusion of this Closed Session, each returning member of <br /> <br />Council certified that (1) only public business matters exempt from open <br /> <br />meeting requirements were discussed in said Closed Session; and (2) only <br /> <br />those business matters identified in the motion convening the Closed Session <br /> <br />were heard, discussed, or considered during said Session. Upon returning to <br /> <br />Open Session, Council took the following action: <br /> <br />Council Member Roop moved to re-appoint Agnes Mobile Scott Hairston <br /> <br />to a four-year term on the Industrial Development Authority ending September <br /> <br />26, 2009; the motion was duly seconded and carried by the following vote, with <br /> <br />all members voting: Vote 4 - O. Yeas (4) - Cobbe, Reynolds, Roop, Clark. Nays <br /> <br />(0) - None. Absent (1) - Ferrill. Council Member Clark moved to appoint Bruce <br /> <br />H. T. Dallas to a three-year term on the Pittsylvania County Community Action <br /> <br />Agency Board ending August 31, 2008; the motion was duly seconded and <br /> <br />carried by the following vote, with all members voting: Vote 4 - O. Yeas (4) _ <br /> <br />Cobbe, Reynolds, Roop, Clark. Nays (0) - None. Absent (1) - Ferrill. <br /> <br />There being no further business to come before Council during their <br /> <br />regular meeting, upon motion by Vice Mayor Reynolds, duly seconded, by <br /> <br />unanimous vote, Mayor Cobbe declared the meeting adjourned at 10:00 P.
